Speaking Engagements
What happens when a youth and a parent or mentor collaborate on a passion project?
Could special bonds be created that strengthen society? Could the projects positively impact our communities, nations, and world? Whether it’s speaking to various organizations, companies, or student/parent groups, Greg Scott relays his passion about the incredible benefits of sharing experiences and youth/parent/mentor project collaborations. He draws upon his cycling adventure with his son, a yearly fundraising busking trip he undertakes with his daughter that has snowballed into the creation of the Tidbits of Change Foundation, and his dad & daughter journey to become the first ever to ski all the lift-serviced ski areas in British Columbia in the same single winter – 44 ski areas in 44 days.
To companies, Scott highlights the rewards gained by employees and employers of encouraging individuals to consider youth mentoring initiatives. To students and/or parent groups, he showcases the meaningful life-long bonds that can be created from shared projects and experiences. To all, he emphasizes how small change can make a big difference and challenges people on what difference they will make next.
